I ride a Kink Transition, Lacy 20/20 bars, animal jump off stem, eastern wheels, animal glh front and back tires, Macneil seat and post. Everything else is pretty much stock
How long have you been riding for?
The training wheels came off when I was 5. I kind of always rode, but I started seriously riding a lot when I was 16.
What was your first BMX?
Spiecialized fuse 1 and I beat the hell out of it
What got you into BMX?
My buddy Chris hastled me for skateboarding…
What is a typical Nick Tingren day like?
Wake up at 8:00, eat like 4 bowls of corn pops and head to school. At school till like 2:30 but some times 1:30 and some time 11:30 what ever I’m feelin. Then usually head up to the skatepark and hang out warm up then head down to the local trails and do some building.
What do you think of the local scene in the lower mainland?
It’s totally awesome from what I have seen. Almost everyone is super cool and relaxed. The riding scene is massive, from bmx to dh there is plenty of riding to be done.

What are some tricks that give you trouble?
720s, and barspins
Outside of riding, what are your hobbies?
Filming and photography, but both of those are definitely related to biking.
What are some more serious injuries you got from riding?
I cant remember when I wasn’t in some sort of pain.
Is there anything you would still like to learn on your bike?
There are lots of trendy tricks I still want to learn. I really want to learn back flips and 720s, they look like a tonne of fun to do
